About Us:
American Advantage Insurance Group was founded in 1995 by five insurance agencies that shared a common vision of working together to provide better service to their clients through increased market access. It was clear that a stand-alone agency would not have the ability to support all the contracts it would need to succeed and maximize it’s potential.

Since then, AAIG has grown to be a significant brand in the insurance industry representing 40 carriers through multiple agency locations and more than $60,000,000 in premium volume.  We look to partner with like-minded insurance agencies to provide increased market access and support needed to maximize revenue.

Increase Your Markets – Through AAIG, we are able to represent more companies by spreading the production requirements.

Increase Your Contingencies – By having all of AAIG’s premium volume combined for the contingencies, the percentages paid by the companies are significantly higher.  With the premium combined, we are also able to absorb larger losses.

Retain Full Ownership of Your Agency – Even though all company contracts are through AAIG, the agency is still owned by you with no back-end buyout fees to terminate.

How We Do It:

  • American Advantage pays each Associate as an independent contractor
  • The Associate Agency gets paid directly from the carrier
  • All commissions are paid per company contracts
  • All contingent commissions are paid in the month that they are received from the carrier
  • Initial Associate Agency fee is $5,000 (Bookroll incentives available) Includes PL rater and Applied TAM system management
  • Monthly Associate Agency fee is $250 plus 10% of gross commissions
  • Commercial partnering available as needed

What will you be doing for American Advantage?  

Appoint new quality agencies and be the “Gatekeeper” between the carriers and the Group. Keeping member agencies informed on market changes. Making sure everything gets completed while staying profitable and maximizing revenue.

 What would you say are the top 3 professional skills you possess? 

  1. Great communication skills. The ability to effectively communicate between all parties.
  2. Ethics. Making sure all decisions are made not only made correctly, but ethically.
  3. Positive attitude. Bringing a positive attitude to both the group and the carriers while being a team player.

What would you say is the most important contribution towards American:
Helping grow American Advantage Insurance Group and making it the best group available in the marketplace.

What are some of your hobbies? 
Spending time with family and friends. Boating, sports cars, taking road trips on my Harley and Real Estate. I’ve been known to flip a few houses!
